Boards with modified polyurethane (PIR) core is a thermal insulation system that has been used for many years in the West. In Poland it is still a new material, however it is gradually gaining acceptance of contractors, architects and employers based on practical benefits, such as e.g.:
- economy – Thermano boards are one of the best thermal insulation materials = ageing lambda at 0.023 W/mk)
- environmental protection and standards – Thermano already meets the power requirements that will be applicable in year 2021!
- simple and quick installation – heavy work input and special equipment are not required to install materials
The primary advantage of Thermano is however its insulation performance. Thermal insulating power class A++ puts PIR boards at the forefront of materials with the best power saving performance. In this field Thermano has no equal among traditional thermal insulation materials, such as mineral wool or styrofoam. Despite a bit higher one-off costs, the purchase of board with PIR core pays off as soon as after a few years, however it should be remembered that polyurethane thermal insulation will serve many generations.
