Calcium Silicate Board has the advantages of high intensity(rupture strength is over 15MPa), light weight, good machinable property and incombustibility, small coefficient of thermal conductivity, thermostability, corrosion preventive, sawability and cuttability.（1）Long service life：Chemical reaction occurs among the siliceous material and the calcareous material under high temperature and pressure, which produce the tobermorite crystals with very stable performance. Hence, Calcium Silicate Board with such crystals as the main ingredient has advantages of acid alkali resistance, not easy to corrode and being affected with damp or ant, which ensure its long service life.（2）Incombustibility：Fire is easy to spread among the traditional wooden product and a large amount of toxic smoke and harmful substances will be produced. (1) Polystyrene Foam Board:a. EPS Panel, a kind of expandable polystyrene foam board, is widely used at present, but its insulation effect is unsatisfactory. It can absorb water, so if apply polystyrene foam board, we need to take some measures to water-proofing measures. b. XPS Panel, a kind of extruded polystyrene foam board, it has the advantages of outstanding high-strength compressive strength, good hydrophobicity and moisture resistance, light texture, good stability and environmental friendly. Its heat-transparency index is lower than the EPS Panel, so its price is a little higher.(2) PU Panel, also called polyurethane board, a kind of relatively high-end insulated material with the best insulation effect. It is usually applied in the places which has extremely strict requirement for insulation. Its price is relatively higher than other insulated materials, so it is not often applied in the residential building. (3) Glass Wool

1. The interior insulation layer will be easy to be damaged during the interior decoration; while the exterior insulation layer can avoid disturbing the residents during the reconstruction but also can avoid the insulation layer being damaged during the interior decoration. 2. The exterior thermal insulation layer is installed outside the exterior-protected construction, so the thermal insulated panel for exterior wall can protect the main structure of the building. When the outside climate changes, the temperature in the wall will change accordingly. If we adopts thermal insulated panel for exterior wall, the temperature will mainly happened in the exterior thermal insulation layer. Hence, the stress caused by the structural change due to the temperature change is buffered, avoiding the great temperature change in the main structure and effectively improving the durability of it. The service life of the building is prolonged accordingly.3
