(1) Polystyrene Foam Board:a. EPS Panel, a kind of expandable polystyrene foam board, is widely used at present, but its insulation effect is unsatisfactory. It can absorb water, so if apply polystyrene foam board, we need to take some measures to water-proofing measures. b. XPS Panel, a kind of extruded polystyrene foam board, it has the advantages of outstanding high-strength compressive strength, good hydrophobicity and moisture resistance, light texture, good stability and environmental friendly. Its heat-transparency index is lower than the EPS Panel, so its price is a little higher.(2) PU Panel, also called polyurethane board, a kind of relatively high-end insulated material with the best insulation effect. It is usually applied in the places which has extremely strict requirement for insulation. Its price is relatively higher than other insulated materials, so it is not often applied in the residential building. (3) Glass Wool and Rock Wool Panel. Glass wool is a kind of cottony molten glass fiber, namely artificial inorganic fiber. It has the advantages of good molding, low bulk density, low thermal conductivity, good thermal insulation, fine sound absorption property, light texture, good stability and anti-corrosive and environmental friendly performance. Touch of glass wool is better than the rock wool, so the its price is higher than the rock wool.
