What are the differences between natural stone coating and general coating?
1. Color
Natural stone coating: deep color
General coating: white or light yellow color systems, if it is deep color, there will be something easy wrong with its hiding power.
2. Evenness
Natural stone coating: low requirement, natural stone coating itself has leveling function of insulation wall cladding.
General coating: high requirement, it is only putty that can make sure the evenness required by the coating.
3. Sanding property
Natural stone coating: general no need for sanding.
General coating: high requirement for the sanding. There may be difference between polished and matte if not well sanded.
4. Putty hardness
Natural stone coating: high requirement for the putty, or natural stone coating will be easily off for exterinal wall cladding system.
General coating: general coating has some requirement but nor high. Even if small area of low hardness putty, coating can be improved because coating’ infiltration into coating to strength its hardness.
5. Flexibility
Natural stone coating: high requirement. Natural stone coating’ flexibility requires the match between putty and natural stone coating, or it may come up with cracks because of uniform shrinkage.
General coating: medium requirement. Thin organic layers of coating is easily affected by ultraviolet ray, temperature difference and freezing-thawing cycle, close proximity of coating to putty requires that putty has the flexibility to resist all kinds of destructive power.
